shake, rattle, and roll
so after being up for more than 36 hours straight, the entire production splits into two units and our unit goes back home from pililya, rizal to our fashion house set on the 30th floor of the world trade exchange building in binondo.
i'm in 3009, setting up the boardroom with aya, the wardrobe guy, and i suddenly feel dizzy and think, "man... i really need sleep." and then i notice the chairs are kinda sliding back and forth... back and forth... and my dizziness is getting worse and i feel like the floor is morphing into a marshmallow.... and i'm like... "hopia... lumilindol ba?!?!?!" aya sternly looks at me and says, "oo ata."
hahaha... funny, but not too funny at that moment when i instinctively slid under the nearest table (which is wrong pala? you should stay under the door frame since it's supposed to be the foundation chaka. chaka.) and thought... "shet. i better not die NOW... after working so hard on this damn boardroom set-up..." hahaha. shet talaga.
all good. our producers and director decide to postpone the shoot til further notice. so our trusty department courageously takes the elevator down to the ground floor (YAY! how safe of us), kidnaps gio alvarez (who was on call and waiting in our service van) and eats lunch at Wai Ying (winner nai tsa and chongfan shrimp!!! YUM!).
two hours later, we're back on the set... FEARFUL and hesitant... but still trying to shoot as much as we could before daylight disappears (with direk eric's praise songs playing in the background. hehe). unit 1 naman under direk cathy is shooting in bataan amidst the wind and rains. LOVELY, this work of TV prod. to the death talaga.
sigh. i wonder how long i'll last.
it's now 9:38 am and i still haven't slept. yeah. 3 days baby. :P
i hope the earth doesn't shake when i'm asleep... coz THAT would really suck.
